iOS 11 just came out and many iPhone users are not happy with the update.

The bug in the update is autocorrecting ‘I’ into a symbol.

Apple has acknowledged the issue and assured that it will be resolved in the next update.

However, if you want it to go away for the time being, here’s a fix you can do manually:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.
  2. Tap ios10 plus add icon iPhone Glitch Frustrating Users.
  3. For Phrase, type an upper-case “I”. For Shortcut, type a lower-case “i.”

If you have not updated your iPhone yet, it’s suggested that you keep your phone plugged in charging to not pick up the bug.
