iOS 11 just came out and many iPhone users are not happy with the update.
The bug in the update is autocorrecting ‘I’ into a symbol.
Apple has acknowledged the issue and assured that it will be resolved in the next update.
However, if you want it to go away for the time being, here’s a fix you can do manually:
- Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.
- Tap .
- For Phrase, type an upper-case “I”. For Shortcut, type a lower-case “i.”
If you have not updated your iPhone yet, it’s suggested that you keep your phone plugged in charging to not pick up the bug.
