Are you overwhelmed? I know I am.
Hurricane Irma left me without water for two days and power for a week and a day, then Maria came and devastated Puerto Rico, brush fires are burning like crazy in California, earthquakes devastated Mexico, President Trump is waging war with the NFL, and now North Korea seems to be declaring war on the US.
The crazy thing is that this is not even everything that’s happened in the past couple of weeks.
There is so much negativity, people are losing friends over opinions, and as a nation, it seems like we’re more divided than ever.
All of this stuff is stressful, but in the midst of all this discord, remember to find pockets of joy.
Just one these situations is enough drive a person mad, and the only way to preserve your mental health in my opinion is counter the bad with good.
Don’t be so wrapped up in your opinions, views, and positions that you forget to take some time to relax and have fun.
Taking a deep breath and a moment to smile in the middle of a storm is okay.
Look, life is crazy and sometimes we have no control over the bad things that happen, but one thing you can control is you, so take the steps to preserve your happy.
