The BIG BROTHER finale was last night….and your winner is…..Josh Martinez. Everyone thought returning contestant Paul was going to win. Why? He entered the Big Brother house as a returning finalist where he was pretty much idolized by all of the new cast, was given three weeks of safety off the bat by fans, and not once was on the block for potential eviction.

So it was no surprise when Paul made it all the way to the end of this season of Big Brother. Josh was left with the decision to bring either Paul or Christmas into the finale with him and he shockingly chose Paul. Which turned out to be a good decision on his part as Josh then defeated Paul to be named the champion of season 19.

“It” will become the highest-grossing horror movie of all time this week. “The Exorcist” is the current title holder, with $232.9 million. But “It” was up to $228.4 million as of Tuesday. So if it didn’t overtake “The Exorcist” last night, it should happen within the next day or two. “It” is also expected to be only the fourth R-rated movie to pass the $300 million mark in the U.S. The other three are “The Passion of the Christ”, “Deadpool”, and “American Sniper”

SUPERBOWL RUMOR OF THE DAY:

JAY-Z reportedly turned down an offer to headline the Super Bowl halftime show.  There were rumors that Jay might do it with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, but a source says it isn’t happening. Another rumor said that either Jay-Z or the NFL may have cooled on the idea because Jay is a supporter of Colin Kaepernick, and thinks he’s being black-balled by the league. No definite word on whether ANY of these rumors are true.
