Around the time of 1938, Nicholas Winton set up a refugee system for Jewish children at risk from Nazis. He was able to save 669 children exactly!

Later in the 80s, he was invited to a TV show and that’s where the tears come in! The host had asked, “Is there anyone in our audience tonight who owes their life to Nicholas Winton?”

All 669 were there in the audience!!!
