[photogallerylink id=59086 align=left]At a music festival this weekend in Las Vegas, Billboard Magazine got a chance to interview the Queen of the Barbz–[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm].

Minaj gave a tiny hint to what her sophomore album will be like, brought out a little Roman, and thanked country-pop goddess, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Taylor Swift[/lastfm], for making her single “Super Bass” into a super hit.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

[pullquote quote=”All I can say is that Roman will definitely be a humongous part of the follow-up to Pink Friday.”]We weren’t shocked by her accent hopping, but we were surprised that the ofttimes provocative singer/rapper thanked Taylor Swift for “launching” her song “Super Bass”

“I want to publicly say again that Taylor Swift really launched that single into another stratosphere with just tweeting about it and rapping it and stuff, so thank you Taylor,” said Minaj. “And she’s so cute and she’s like a big bowl of ice cream.”

We can only take guesses as to what flavor.

In terms of her new album, Minaj was much more elusive:

“All I can say is that Roman will definitely be a humongous part of the follow-up to Pink Friday. I can’t talk about anything else that has to do with the sophomore album. All I can say is that I’m working on it and the fans are gonna get their life and then some.”
