It’s the old saying that basketball players want to be musicians and vice versa… so its only right that we made a list featuring the two worlds combined.

Here is our Top 10 list of NBA players in music videos!  Check them out then travel over to MySpace and experience NBA super star Blake Griffin’s recent hijack of the site.

Former NBA All-Stars Stephon Marbury and Jalen Rose made cameos in this classic 2001 song.


#9 – [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Diddy[/lastfm] – “Bad Boy For Life”

The “Diesel” Shaquille O’Neal makes a cameo apperance in Diddy’s classic Bad Boy anthem back in 2004.


#8 – [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]R. Kelly [/lastfm]- “I Believe I Can Fly”

R. Kelly had everyone flying high including his airness Michael Jordan with this 1996 classic track from the Space Jam movie soundtrack.

Kanye West may not have appeared in the video but his song “Amazing” served as the theme song for the 2009 NBA Playoffs.

Slam Dunk Champion and multi time All-Star Vince Carter appeared in Fabolous’s hit track back in 2002

Usher debuted his song More during last year’s NBA All-Star game in Dallas, Texas.


#4 -[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Justin Timberlake [/lastfm]& [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jamie Foxx [/lastfm]- “Winner”

This song served as 2010 NBA Playoff anthem for TNT as the duo did a special campaign with the song.


#3 – [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bow Wow [/lastfm]- “Basketball”

Bow Wow made a bet with NBA All-Star Baron Davis in the very beginning of this video for his movie Like Mike.

It was a better time for Christina Aguliera in 2003, as she delivered the NBA Playoff anthem that year.
